Absolute Skin Aesthetics Terms and Conditions

General Information

  • All patients are required to provide contact details, including address, telephone and email in order to secure an appointment.
  • All clients will complete a Medical History form at their first appointment or before their first appointment. This is necessary to determine the treatment planning process and the suitability for the desired procedure.
  • Clients will be required to consent to before and after treatment photos as part of their medical records.
  • All information will be treated as confidential and protected in accordance with Data Protection legislation
  • Patient information will not be shared with third parties without written permissions and you will not receive unsolicited information from us.
  • You may choose to remove yourself from our mailing list at any time, by unsubscribing.

  • We cannot and will not proceed to treatment unless all of the above is satisfactorily completed.

Services

  • The Clinic provides aesthetic treatments, including but not limited to dermal fillers, Botox and skin rejuvenation.
  • The services provided by Absolute Skin Aesthetics are performed by a qualified healthcare professional specialising in non-surgical aesthetic treatments.
  • The results of treatments may vary depending on individual factors. No guarantees of specific results are made.

Eligibility for Treatment

  • Clients must be at least 18 years old to receive treatments.
  • A full medical history will be taken during the initial consultation. You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, medications, or allergies.
  • If you are considering pregnancy, are currently pregnant, or are breastfeeding, we regret to inform you that we cannot provide any treatments due to concerns regarding risk and safety.
  • Treatment suitability is determined by the healthcare professional. If deemed unsuitable, the clinic reserves the right to decline treatment.

Consultations

  • A pre-treatment consultation is required to assess suitability for the desired procedure.
    The Clinic reserves the right to refuse treatment if deemed medically inappropriate.
  • A consultation must be booked first, if you are a new patient or if you are intending to have Botox treatment. A non-refundable deposit of £35 upon booking the consultation is required which is redeemable against treatment purchase.

New Patient and Remote Consultations

  • Whilst remote consultations are discouraged, we acknowledge some circumstances when this service may be helpful; particularly for patients who will be travelling long distances.
  • New patients, seeking advice from a practitioner in a remote discussion, require a diary appointment of 30 minutes. Patients must be available at the time of the call as per the appointment time agreed. A charge of £35 will be made upon booking the appointment, payable in advance redeemable against any treatment purchase.

Appointments

A  non-refundable deposit of £35 will be taken on booking an appointment This deposit can be redeemed against a treatment should you decide to proceed with a treatment and if the practitioner agrees that the treatment is suitable. 

If less than 48 hours is given to cancel an appointment your £35 deposit is non-refundable.

  • Please do NOT attend the clinic for an appointment if you are unwell. If you are unsure, please call and discuss. Many treatments are contraindicated if you are unwell; this includes colds, cold sores or local skin infections.
  • Routine review appointments are offered after treatment with Botulinum Toxin as a courtesy. If you are unable to attend the review appointment at 2 – 4 weeks, no additional treatment or ‘top up’ is provided once the review period of 2 – 4 weeks has passed.
  • New patients are seen for consultation and assessment by prior arrangement.  Treatment may be provided on the first visit only if the patient and practitioner deem suitable which may be dependent on the type of treatment, however this is not recommended, to allow adequate cooling off period.  

Children

  • We do not treat children or young adults under the age of 18. 
  • Please do not bring children to the clinic unless they are old enough to be left unsupervised.
  • Children will not be allowed to accompany you into the treatment rooms.

Consent

  • Clients are required to sign an informed consent form prior to treatment, acknowledging risks and agreeing to the procedure.
  • Clients must provide their consent for photographs to be taken before and after treatment, as this is a necessary component of their medical record. If consent for these photographs is not granted, treatment will be refused. The photographs will be stored securely under current and future DATA Protection Legislation and will not be used for any other purpose without your written consent or a Court Order.

Payment

  • You will be advised of the full costs of any treatment plan proposed and agreed, including that of any maintenance treatment, before any treatment is undertaken.
  • Payment is taken, in full at the time of treatment.
  • The clinic accepts cash, or major debit and credit cards.
  • A discretionary deposit may be requested for some treatments and in some circumstances.

Cancellations and Refunds

Fees charged for treatment are for the delivery of a treatment and the accompanying service, which is inclusive of;

  • consultation and assessment
  • provision of information and advice
  • safe treatment with evidence based products
  • follow up appointments and aftercare advice and support as appropriate

We are committed to delivering exceptional service, providing factual, honest, and ethical advice, ensuring safe and expert treatment by an qualified professional, and utilizing only the highest quality products. However, we cannot guarantee specific results and are unable to offer refunds if the outcomes do not align with your expectations.

No refunds, or partial refunds will be given on any treatments or procedures undertaken.

Deposits are refundable against treatment but non-refundable nor transferable if an appointment is cancelled or re-arranged less than 2 working days (48 hours) before it was scheduled.

Courses of treatment / packages must be paid for in full in advance of the first treatment.

No refunds or partial refunds will be given on courses not completed.

All packages and treatments are non-refundable and non-transferable

If a client fails to arrive for their appointment, or provides less than 48 hours notice of cancellation, the session will be deducted from course.

Cancellations or rescheduling can be made by telephone or email. 

Privacy and Data Protection

  • The Clinic respects your privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws.
  • Personal data collected is used solely for providing services and maintaining records.
